Supporting Artists

What was taken away from artists and their fans is heartbreaking but is also an opportunity to connect them more directly than ever. The festival boosted the artists’ and yogis’ online engagement on streaming platforms and social media, reconnecting them to their fans, both loyal and new.

Fundraising

Our Summer edition causes were Defending Black Lives and Black Lives Matter.

Our Christmas edition causes were FareShare and Campaign Against Living Miserably.

Supporting Small Businesses

With seven small businesses as our personal sponsors, Turn Up The World highlighted their global presence and boosted their sales over lockdown.

“A lot of their [musicians] income is based off streams and playing live, one has dropped and the other is at the moment impossible.

This is where Turn Up the World comes in. This 3 day virtual festival is designed to bring artists from all over the world together, to share a stage and hopefully boost their streams. You’re going to get the festival experience from the comfort of you home.”

“The festival aims to fill the void and bring delightful positivity through bestowing music upon its dedicated passionate fanbases. With a showcase of acts from all over the world, it is not essential to grasp your passport tightly. ‘Turn Up The World’ is not featuring the lineup of events we have been exploited to this year, (it is only June, pray for us) but a lineup so talented, astonishing and diverse that the decision to cancel festivals will only be a catastrophic memory. With sensational acts such as Adriana Terren, Jungle Man Sam, Ana Senko, Daisy Clark, Horses on the Beach, Frank Song. Jr., Bosco Tamames, Lily Lyons, Samuel Walwyn and NANA you do not want to miss this distinguished event.”

“What a brilliant idea Turn Up The World is in the face of these crazy times, the festival wants to give artists a chance to reconnect with their fanbase all while branching out to brand new international audiences. What’s not to love about it!” - Dan Pascoe, BBC Radio Cornwall.

“ It was a real domino effect, watching festival after festival cancel or reschedule…as such live music was put on hiatus but thankfully people like Nana didn’t let that stop her from organising entertainment and live music for an eager audience.

This is how Turn Up The World Festival was born, a totally virtual festival that brought a variety of artists from all around the world to our screens… After a successful first run during the summer the virtual festival now returns with its Winter Wonderland Edition. Not only will they bring live music to a global audience they will also be raising money for FareShare and Campaign Against Living Miserably.

The Winter Wonderland Edition line-up has been announced (with more to come) and includes Cornwall’s Daisy Clark, X-Factor sensation Samuel Storm. In addition to this there will be yoga and well-being classes from Lisa Sanfillipo and Lucy Hayes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to scratch that live music itch, have a good stretch, support independent artists and raise money for charity.”

“The core mission of the festival is to create community, help each other and enjoy some fantastic music. The festival is raising money for Campaign Against Living Miserably and Fareshare to provide meals for struggling families and mental health support during the Christmas holidays, a notoriously difficult time of year.”
